Service

What we service

One manufacturer, worked properly. Flat $80 diagnostic, credited toward the repair when you approve the work.

A technician hands adjusting the igniter of a stainless gas cooktop set into a stone worktop, one burner cap lifted off beside it.

Service

One manufacturer, worked properly: refrigeration, cooking, dishwashing, ventilation and coffee, with the same diagnostic order every time.

Price bands

What does a repair cost across these six?

Completed work, parts and labor together. Most of what we do on this page lands between $430 and $2,520; the $80 visit comes off that once you approve the repair.

Ranges for completed work, not quotations. The firm figure is written down after the diagnosis, at the appliance, and nothing is ordered before you have it.
What gets replaced Parts and labor
Refrigeration column sealed system $850–$2,520
Control board or touch panel $430–$1,090

Before any of that

$80

Flat $80 diagnostic covering the visit and the full diagnostic sequence, credited toward the repair once you approve the work.

You get a written estimate before any part is ordered or any labor is billed.

Scope

What do people ask before they pick a page?

Which appliances do you actually work on?
Six families: built-in refrigeration and wine storage, ranges, rangetops and cooktops, steam and wall ovens, dishwashers, ventilation, and built-in coffee systems. One manufacturer across all of them, which is what keeps a single parts catalogue and a single set of service manuals within reach.
Do you work on anything other than Thermador?
No. That is a deliberate limit rather than a gap in ability. One manufacturer means one parts catalogue, one set of service literature and one family of control boards to know properly, and that is usually the difference between a one-visit repair and a two-visit one.
What if the appliance is still under its factory warranty?
Call the manufacturer first, because under that coverage the work should cost you nothing and we will say so on the phone rather than take the booking. If the fault turns out to be the installation rather than the appliance, that is work we can do.

What owners said after work on these appliances

4.5

Ours drained into the disposal and kept backing up into the tub. He found the knockout plug had never been taken out when the disposal went in and dealt with it. A fault we had lived with for years, gone in one visit.

Emerson Q.

Water was pooling in the cabinet under the unit. He traced it to a perished seal on the outlet rather than the tank everyone assumes, renewed it, and dried the cabinet out properly before refitting.

Dorothea A.

Glasses came out with a film that would not wipe off. He tested the water path, sorted out the rinse aid dosing and explained what the mineral here does to glass. The next load came out clear and has stayed that way.

Coverage

One brand, one county

We service Thermador appliances and no others, across St. Augustine and St. Johns County. Concentrating on one manufacturer means one parts catalogue, one set of service literature and one family of control boards to know well — which is usually the difference between a one-visit repair and a two-visit one.

The other half of the answer is which trades this is not. Six appliance families is the whole list: nothing on this site is an offer to work on a furnace, a heat pump, an air handler, a condensing unit or the supply and return ducting that heats and cools a house. That is the mechanical trade. The only ducting we open is the short run between a kitchen hood and its cap, which is why a hood page on this site talks about duct and a heating page does not exist.

If your appliance is still covered by its factory warranty, call the manufacturer first. That work should not cost you anything.
