It works now, but it took three visits to get there and nobody warned us the part would sit on order that long. The fault was a thermistor reading high. I would use them again with lower expectations about timing.

Warranty
90 days on labor, 365 days on parts, genuine OEM parts only.
This is our own workmanship warranty. It is separate from, and additional to, any coverage the manufacturer provides on the appliance itself.
Terms
The part we fit and the labour we did are both covered, in writing, from the date on your invoice. What is not covered is listed just as plainly.
Labor
90 days on the work we performed, from the date on your invoice.Parts
365 days on every part we supplied and fitted, from the same date.Parts outlast labor, so they are quoted apart
The exclusions are written out rather than implied, because a warranty you have to argue about is not worth having.
Making a claim
Call the same number and give the invoice date. If the fault we repaired has returned inside the window, the return visit carries no diagnostic charge.
Sealed systems
EPA Section 608 certification covers the sealed refrigerant systems in built-in refrigeration and wine storage.
EPA Section 608 certified technicians.
Who is liable
Matanzas Kitchen Service honours this warranty directly. No third party administers it, and nothing here is a claim on anyone else's coverage.
The repairs below are the ones this warranty is written about: 90 days on the labor and 365 days on the part, whichever band the job lands in.
| What gets replaced | Parts and labor |

| Control board or touch panel | $430–$1,090 |
Before any of that

The keypad on the hood only answered every second press. He renewed the membrane and cleaned the connector behind it. It responds first time now, though he did have to come back once to finish the job.

It got fixed, but I was told on the phone it sounded like a drain pump and it turned out to be a blocked air gap. Less work than I had feared and I appreciated being told so, but the first guess was not close.
